Correction.

There was an error in the Learning Zone article 'Familial hypercholesterolaemia: clinical features and management' (Nursing Standard, 20, 14-16, 55-65). In the section headed 'Genetic counselling', we should have said that there is a one in two chance of a child of a heterozygote parent with a non- familial hypercholesterolaemia (FH) partner being a FH heterozygote, rather than one in four as stated in the article. In the case of a homozygote parent with a non-FH partner, all offspring will be FH heterozygotes, rather than one in two as stated. We apologise for the error.
