Immunological basis for differences in susceptibility to hydrocarbon oncogenesis among mice of a single genotype.

Abstract

The tendency for tumor induction to occur preferentially in certain individual mice of an inbred strain vanished when the putative immune response was reduced either by radiation plus thymectomy or by reduction of the concentration of the chemical oncogen.
