RPL10(核糖体蛋白L10)是核糖体的重要组成部分,属于RPL基因家族(核糖体蛋白大亚基家族),该家族成员编码的蛋白质共同构成核糖体60S大亚基,参与蛋白质合成的翻译过程。RPL10在核糖体中直接与rRNA和其他核糖体蛋白相互作用,帮助维持核糖体结构稳定并促进mRNA解码和肽链延伸。其表达产物具有高度保守性,在真核生物中功能相似。突变可能破坏核糖体组装或功能,导致翻译效率下降或错误,进而影响细胞增殖、分化等基本生命活动。RPL10突变与多种疾病相关,如X连锁智力障碍(XLID)和特纳综合征,患者常表现为认知障碍和发育异常;某些癌症中也发现RPL10突变或表达异常,可能通过影响致癌蛋白翻译促进肿瘤发生。过表达RPL10可能扰乱核糖体平衡,引发未折叠蛋白反应(UPR)或异常激活促生存信号通路;而表达降低会导致核糖体不足,全局翻译减少,尤其影响快速增殖细胞(如造血干细胞或癌细胞)。RPL基因家族成员均参与核糖体生物发生,多数为小分子量碱性蛋白,具有冗余功能但部分成员(如RPL10)存在独特调控作用。专业术语解释:核糖体(ribosome)是细胞内的蛋白质合成工厂;翻译(translation)指以mRNA为模板合成蛋白质的过程;未折叠蛋白反应(UPR)是内质网应对错误折叠蛋白的应激机制。
